Does any one know where I could get a Dzus D ring fastener for the A7 A10 toolbox ?

I have looked at all of those and they all have the wrong locking detail.
The one for the toolbox has an open end to go over the spring that it locks onto.

the BSA toolbox lock is not actually a Dzus fastener I was told when I bought one, if I can remember where I got it ( I bought two actually) I'll get back to you, they are not quite as original due to having a ring instead of a screw head

However found this for original type probably can be bought elsewhere also

I've got two of those Bill.
I liked the idea of the D ring type, I don't fancy welding a washer onto an original type.

Ah no welding required, the washer slips over the shank (inside toolbox cover) it's softish and dished so once on the shank and over the groove in same you just slip a tube or socket against it and push it flat, this squeezes it into the grove and makes it captive.
I also fitted a very thin washer between the screw head and outside of box cover so turning the screw head doesn't rub off the paint
This is on my Flash (fairly original), my other bike is not so original and that is the one where I have a ring on the fixing, I'll try to find out where I got it

 I see it often when I'm looking for other things and don't remember where if came from,  but have a feeling it's Noturn related
