Hope you got my messages through to you via the message system OK....If not may one of our members draw Greybeard to this topic please......If my message has gone via admin, could there be a delay?

You kindly offered me the use of a tap to clean tank petrol tap threads after sealant application, but, I did not take up your offer as I have  no intention of doing that job for the foreseeable future yet.  I appreciated your offer, but, I have not sent you my postal address, nor have I received a tap from you by any other means.......

If it's 1/4" BSP, you can buy one for a couple of quid off ebay.

Regarding the tap, you kindly offered to loan it to me, I gratefully accepted but nothing arrived in the post. This was about a week and a half ago?

I hope you find it (and the blanking fasteners....)

Simon, when I went to look for those bits I found the blanking plugs but have not found the tap, (yet). I'll have another look but I'm wondering if I've lent it to someone else on the forum and forgotten about it. Does anyone have my BSP tap for fuel tank tap bosses?

Looks like you will have to buy a new one to lend out.

I am going to clean my tank out soon and then fit the two brand new taps I have purchased. If anyone wants the old taps for cleaning out their tanks, no problem. I am not going to clean mine until we get double figures in the weather department.
