Introducing myself
« on: 20.03. 2018 19:08 »
Hi Everyone
I'm located near Vancouver, Canada and a newbie to forums so forgive me while I get the hang of it.
I have a few BSAs among all my projects and a brother in the UK who is also on this forum.
I've had several Super Rockets pass through my hands over the past 35 years but still have yet to get one going!
Right now my main push is to complete a Gold Star and complete everything I need for 1963 Gold Star Spitfire.
Any other GS Spitfire owners out there?
cheers, Mike

Mike,

Welcome to the forum. Do you currently have any A7/A10 projects in the works? We do go on about other models from time to time, with the expectation to get back to the point, eventually. Being an enthusiast is the important thing.

We do have a member named Bikerjohndavies, but he says he's an only child.  *smile*

Muskrat,

Yah. I confused "Gold Star Spitfire" with just "Gold Star".  I guess I could have paid attention to the avatar photo, which, I assume, is the former. Thanks for letting me know.

Mike,

Now that another gap in my A10ology is exposed, I would love to see some photos of the object of my confusion,

Richard L.

Hi Mike, It was fun re-connecting with you the other day. (And showing you around the gearhead ranch) Sorry I did not have a trove of Super Flashes laying about.  But I can vouch that Mike is a good guy and treated me well many years ago with the pursuit of the "Devil Bike" which is a BSA Preunit Single of considerable folklore and tall tales of the BC cycle scene.
Turns out we know a lot of the same people, Small world.
I am busy busy with the German for a few more days, but will be in contact soon.
