What Cylinder Head Does My A7SS have?
« on: 24.05. 2018 19:30 »
The only part number I could find is stamped on the cast in manifold of my alloy head ..either 61-1155 or 67-1155.. which turn up a total blank in the parts books I have.

I want to order theright valves and collets and caps for my head.

How many A7SS heads were they and does anyone know the numbers?

I note that my frame SHOULD have a '59 head, which is BSA part No 67-1114, ditto head as a Super Rocket but obviously not the same valve size.

Thanks!

G'day Peter.
Inlet 67-740 = Alpha V15 = 1.31". Exhaust 67-741 = Alpha V16 = 1.28".
BUT with a little port & seat work A10 iron head valves work well.
Inlet Alpha V17 1.41". Exhaust Alpha V18 1.38"
I have them in a 57 SS head on my 51 A7 plunger  *good3*
