Rocker Cover pressure not A7 0r A10
« on: 28.05. 2018 17:32 »
How much pressure is acceptable,  I have just loosely fitted my A65 rocker cover and I am quite surprised how pressure builds up and squeaks out of the gasket that I have not buttoned up yet. I have read about rocker pressure release valves that were fitted by the Mike Hailwood racing team. Thanks lads, I miss my A10  *sad2*

G'day A10 JWO.
Was the timed breather installed correctly?
Have someone kick the motor (plugs out) a dozen times while you get under the bike and feel/listen for breathing out the vent hole.
A good discussion here https://tinyurl.com/ychjo52k

Thanks Muskrat. That made good reading, I don't think that I have any issues. It was just unusual for me to turn over without buttoning up the covers. We will see.  *smile*

Hi Muskrat. I buttoned up the rocker cover and fitted the head steady correctly, all is silent now. Sound like I worried unnecessarily. Thanks for replies.
