Pinstripe line 1962 Golden Flash
« on: 15.06. 2018 08:52 »
Can anybody tell me if a red pinstripe line around the chrome on the fuel tank is standard on a black 1962 Golden Flash please? Like the accompanying photograph.

AFAIK should be gold and a single stripe, but I wasn't at the factory checking, it's BSA so could have been a "sorry no gold paint left" day
All the best - Bill
1961 Flash - stock, reliable, steady, fantastic for shopping
1959 Rocket Gold Flash - blinged and tarted up  would have seizure if taken to  Tesco

Mostly unrestored 1960 Golden Flash. Tank looks to be unrestored or it was restored before my ownership and a very long time ago.

This is an enlarged section from my profile picture showing the gold line thickness on my 1960 Nutley Blue GF in the late 60s. Seems to be about the same thickness.
