A10 splined crinkle hub
« on: 22.06. 2018 09:43 »
Hello.

Desperately seeking a splined crinkle hub for a A10 gold flash, not bothered about state of wheel, just the hub is all I need, I can get the wheel made up with new spokes & rim.
Thanks in advance.

The Plunger ones are different to the '54/5/ ?6 Swing Arm ones (just a bearing lock-ring on the right for Plungers) and maybe slightly different again to the A65/50 ones, so TT maybe you need to specify that...will probably still work but.... *dunno2*

I looked for one but wasn't successful. It's easy to be confused by Starfire hubs too, but they have the speedo-driving sleeve (rather than said lock ring) on the right hand side.

Yes that's the type I am after, but I am a long way from you, in the U.K. I guess the postage to me would be expensive, if you could find out it would be appreciated, I can get the wheel rebuilt here okay.

Kind regards TTJohn

John, I think it would still be helpful to know what model you need it for because small detail on the right side (opposite the splne) may cause issue if you have the wrong one (issue regarding the dust cover). I'm just guessing on that but to be sure... *dunno2*

We have 3 types, Just added to website is

A65 style with thread for speedo https://mikesclassiccyclespares.com/product/68-6114/
A7 A10 swing arm style https://mikesclassiccyclespares.com/product/67-6136/
And there is another type for plungers.. We would have that as well, just not on website.

BSA A7 A10 GOLDSTAR PLUNGER SPLINED Crinkle hub 67-6126
https://mikesclassiccyclespares.com/product/67-6126

And just to throw a spanner in the works, the early rigid A7 used a different one again. It was smaller "crinkle" on one side... 67-6021 (yes we have that one too...
