Super Rocket Project
« on: 13.07. 2009 01:08 »
G'day Guys,
Just finished my '61 S/R project, all is good, runs really well, still
soughting out the clutch & have an oil leak from behind the gearbox
sprocket, not sure if its from the new seal or running down the shaft
somehow,

regards, Cus

*smile*very well done. Did you keep track of the cost ? Don't let "she who must be obeyed" know just move the decimal point to the left one or TWO places.

Thanks for all those great comments,
It took 12 months to do, chasing parts, as you all
know takes time, I sourced alot of parts from U.S.
& U.K., & also some from here in Australia. Even though
I did all the disassembling, assembling, painting, wiring,
it still adds up, alot of the parts on the original bike
were throw away but the eng., frame, hubs, mag &
dyno were all able to be saved. I've got a great mechanic
mate who did all the eng. work who used to race English
bikes, so that really helped.
Look forward to talking with you guys on the forum,
I've well & truly got the A10 disease now, even though
my wife is very unimpressed! "They just don't understand",
I keep telling her its like money in the bank. *smile*
