Same down here. Middle of winter and was working in a T shirt most of the day. Only a thin blanket on the bed last night.
Cheers

New high here on the coast today 27 degrees, hate to think what the poor buggers have got inland.

Fortunately I painted the roof of the workshop with solar reflective week before last otherwise the BSA's would be simmering on about gas mark 4!

2011 New addition 1937 Empire Star, twin port, high pipes. Turned out to be the most unreliable bike I have handled.
2017 finally found the liner/barrel were flexing and causing all the overheating/nipping up. Early B33 barrel fitted and it's reliable at last!

Sitting in the office here up the Smoke in air conditioned splendour. A different story when I wander down for a train later - matt black roof and all closed up in the sidings all day.

The summer we are having here this year is the sort of summer that only happens a couple of times in a lifetime. We still speak of 1976.

9.30 pm and just returned after an evening ride (wife on pillion as usual), we're making the most of it while it lasts. It's a bit cooler in the evening at 20 C to face having to put our motorcycling gear on. Once on the move though it's a pleasure - even weaving around all the potholes, sunken manhole covers, traffic calming speed bumps, chicanes and stopping at traffic lights every 50 yards.

Hi Jim, yes running perfectly and it seems smoother than before. Coincidentally though, also running it with my first tank full of BP Premium petrol (as opposed to the supermarket petrol) so maybe wishful thinking or psychological.

1963 was the winter to remember
I was 13 that year. I cannot remember specifics but I'm sure I enjoyed the snow.
