G'day all.
It's the middle of winter here with 18-22C days, just right for riding motorbikes  *smiley4*. Only had a few frosts a week ago. But it's bl@@dy DRY. Most of NSW is in drought, some towns will be out of water by Xmas. There are "rivers" that haven't seen water for two years!!! Farmers down in Vic are sending up hay and food for the livestock and farmers.
At least I haven't had to mow the grass for a few months.
Cheers

Hi Musky, certainly looks bad for NSW, also bad for our ride day no Wednesday Gail force winds thunder storms hail and heavy rain. I am going to ride anyway, probable to the nearest coffee shop. We have had lots of rain here this year mostly on Wednesdays *angry* but good for farmers *smile*

My brother (lives in Texas) sent me this the other day. He says this is not abnormal during the summer in Austin.

Hi Musky, we did a short ride about 60Ks all three of us. OK first bit but the return run we struck horizontal rain and hail *beer*

G'day Peter, lucky bugga.
The most I've had in the last week is a heavy dew.

Did the West Kent International over the weekend, an excellently run event.

Temperature on Friday was 35 degrees! I just melted!

Saturday was a bit better at 30 degrees for the main run and the old Empire Star chugged along all day without missing a beat.

I abandoned the show session on Sunday morning when the temperature was getting into the upper twenties before 1000hrs and retired to my home on the coast where it never got above 20 degrees all day! Wonderful!
1961 A10SR, spent a fortune at SRM
1961 A7SS, finally the right green
2011 New addition 1937 Empire Star, twin port, high pipes. Turned out to be the most unreliable bike I have handled.
2017 finally found the liner/barrel were flexing and causing all the overheating/nipping up. Early B33 barrel fitted and it's reliable at last!
