A lady contacted me at work today and asked if I can prepare her late husbands V Max for an MOT so she can sell it. Very low mileage and dry stored a few years. I am hoping that a new battery and fresh fuel will do the job. I am not touching 4 carbs. I have got a chance in hell, I did it with a big Kawasaki once for an old boy ? Regards Colin.

Good luck, my friend’s Vmax ran fine when he used it. But since he stopped riding and stood it up with irregular starting he has had two big bills for carb refurbs, not sure which bits but something in there dries out and or perishes.

Is it the full power version? That has some extra boost system I think.
