Gearbox plates to frame query SOLVED!
« on: 06.09. 2018 13:59 »
Hi, can't seem to figure this out..... the lug or fixture that accepts the gearbox plates and through which passes the footrest bolt has ( see pucture) two raised spigots...which means then you offer the plate up, the next bolt below it 42-4472 will have a gap between the plate and the footrest mounting/gearbox mounting lug, but there is no specer specified..which surely would mean distorted plates?

Photo attached and hoping for an explanation..should I make up some spacers?

the big hole ime on about is for foot rests -yes I don't use this big hole because mine is set up as a cafĂ© racer, but you don't need spacers because the bottom plate sits inside the big hole plate . I do hope this makes nonsense cheers.
