I need a speedo cable that will fit my A7 gearbox 1956 I think to then attach to my Smith replica RE (I think speedo) I have a cable that fits into the clock but the retaining curled nut/retainer ring is a different thread to my gearbox. I therefore need a new cable with the right thread for the gearbox and clock which are obviously different threads. I note a number of shops advising they can make just about any cable. Recommendations please. Thank
