Hi All
« on: 19.09. 2018 11:21 »
Hello Everyone,
I'm a new member from South Lincs UK and having a 1954 BSA A10 plunger in boxes felt some contact with experienced people on this fantastic forum would be very handy...!!!

I'm going to rebuild it slowly as and when I get the time and being in boxes means I don't 100% know if i'm missing anything so its a question of focusing on an area and fully understanding the assembly.
Currently it's the rear QD hub and plunger suspension.

I'm not unfamiliar with old vehicles having restored a few classic cars but old bikes are a new departure.
Although I do also have a 1960 BSA M21 plunger but this has always been complete with only maintenance required, so not delved too deeply into its inner workings.

So best regards to everyone and Hello. *wave*

G'day dsj666, you little devil.
Your in good hands here.
I had to figure it all out alone back when I did mine. 2am phone calls to England in the early 80's.
Cheers

Welcome DSJ666, You've found a pretty good group of Guys and Gals here to share the fun of rebuilding one of these beauties. Never be afraid to ask a question, or even throw a few pics in to the mix  *beer*

Welcome DSJ. Great forum here, top advice and support available when you want it. Good luck with the plunger. I blame the guy who invented mechano for making us take such projects on. Have a C15 in a similar wheelbarrow.

Hi DSJ in South Lincs... Now don't tell me you are in Deeping St James? if so I am only in the next village from you, just across the river in Deeping Gate. Gissa shout if you need help. Certainly not seen any M21 plungers whizzing around, thought I was the only one around them parts, other than Lindsay who has now move up north.
