Looks to be a Trihard motor badge on the timing cover. The name on the tank suggests Italian.

There was an article a while ago in a Dutch classic bike magazine about a bloke restoring an Italjet Grifon.
According to the article, Italian built with a Triumph T120 engine block so not sure if the Wikipedia article is correct

Looks almost as though the Triumph unit has replaced a Velocette motor. Who was it that made a batch of Velo engined bikes?

The Velo version was branded 'Indian'.
Italian Italjet frame. American. Floyd Clymer project.
