Clutch Nuts
« on: 28.09. 2018 15:50 »
 *eek* Sounds rather painful.  *lol*

Got these this morning but I'm sure that they should have a notch stamped in them to stop against the spring so to prevent them coming undone... am I right? They look a bit too thick to bash a notch in them so I'm wondering how long a good blob of solder might last... maybe not very long... any other ideas?

Wondering what the little arrow mark is for?

I think file a nick in the perimeter might work, all the ones I've had did have pip pressed out to engage the spring
All the best - Bill

1959 Rocket Gold Flash - blinged and tarted up  would have seizure if taken to  Tesco

I noticed the marked arrow as well Bill, I bet manufacturer forgot to notch this stock. I've since thought about drilling a small hole and soldering a bit of brass rod in, it would only need to be about 2mm otherwise I'd never get them off.
