Think I'm categorised as such (gods knows how) but I'm with you, oil changes at ridiculously short uneconomic intervals means I ride without giving much thought to whatever I've filled the oil tank up with, the level is a thousand times more important

Love it Musky
Just to wind everyone up further, I've just read an article that says to use detergent oils in clean, rebuilt engines to avoid sludge build up. If the engine's been run on low detergent, continue doing that or it'll free up the sludge to circulate in your motor. Someone else says that the particles trapped in detergent oils are so small, it won't make a blind bit of difference. Tell you what folks, I'll stick to what I'm doing and will let you know what happens (change oil every 1k-1.2k in case you're interested).
I can just see the rage growing as I write this

Two options I reckon - leave or get kicked out! Same applied in most of the pubs I visited as a kid - seemed fair then.

It is what it is. The idea of a rebuild to visit the war graves of the first world war is a noble and worthwhile challenge. It kicks the media frenzy that is brexit into perspective. Keep on keeping on Mosin, looking forward to the next update.

Just to keep the oil pot stirring!! I use Pentrite High Zinc Classic Light 20W 60 with a oil filter on the return line and change oil and filter at 2 to 3000M or once a year which ever comes first.
