Wanted Plunger A10 toolbox NOW FOUND

Took the sheet metal work to the painters yesterday to be told that the bike's toolbox is too far gone - the lid is badly twisted and won't close properly without some bending force on it. We tried to bend it back on the bench and its not promising. So I'm on the lookout for a toolbox that (with the exception of the paint finish) is in good nick and closes cleanly. I see there are a couple on ebay but I don't fancy the Indian ones, they look like being a bit flat. And my budget is getting a bit stretched!

Don’t write it off yet. The side panel fell off my Loop frame Guzzi – ‘Jug’ back in the summer, and despite managing a pretty fast dismount it had already been squashed flat by some passing and caring motorist by the time I got to it.

A wizened and clearly highly skilled tin smith at So-Low did an amazing job on it.

That sounds ideal but it looks like they are far from me and I need the box now so the painter can get cracking with everything. I'll pay a decent price if I can get one quickly

Well you're right of course, but for this bike I've got to get everything as perfect as I can since its for my old friend Josef. He would like it to look like "showroom". And I'm running out of time (my fault) having implied to him that I'd have it ready after 3 months, it now looks like 4 or 5. So I'm cutting the corner a bit where I can buy something which is just right, as in this toolbox. I'm still enjoying myself along the way, never tried for perfection before!

Heres a photo which illustrates a risk about buying Indian. I bought a pair of oil seal holders, this was what happened to the chrome right outa the packing. I'll put some nicer ones on later about the bike.
