I guess I'm one of the lucky ones. The SR is still running the original cork taps and they work great. I did find out the hard way that draining the tank and leaving it sit is not good for cork taps! They dried out and ruined one of them. I replaced the cork about 8 years and it's still working fine. I just leave the tank full.
The RR is running an Indian made tank. It had a different thread pattern and I had to run generic lever taps. They work well, but I really wanted to put a set of cork taps on it.

I’ve got the original push pull taps, work fine, tank is never empty. Wrapping ptfe tap around the spindle to make the (new) corks a bit bigger in diameter made them stop leaking. Boiling them in water to make them expand like I read on forums did NOT work  *eek*

 The set I bought originally for the bike leaked instantly. Matter of fact reserve had to be removed and replaced with a pipe plug just so I could drive the bike the first time.

 Now I know UK cheapo skates will gasp at the price of these, but I have too much time, effort, money, and pride wrapped up in my bike to hang ugly parts on just because they are cheap as dirt.

 I will let you know how these go in the upcoming year.

No leaks

Got them from a supplier in the States (Lowbrow I think 🤔)

 Made somewhere in New York state under the trade name European Spares LTD. I guess they make quite a few parts, and it sounds like they make a lot of stuff for triples.
