Fork legs
« on: 15.07. 2020 21:41 »
Do all A10 fork legs come with the same thread/pitch for the seal holders.
I got some new holders and they dont spin on easily like the old ones do - almost as if the threads are slightly different.

Should all be the same - across most if not all the BSA range. Probably the chrome plating has got into the threads.

G'day Doom
RD is right, the same thread.
I had the same problem when fitting new stainless seal holders. Even heat didn't work. Ended up spending hours with fine grinding paste working them on and off (yes I cleaned it all off before final fit). Trouble with that is it also wears the fork leg thread so original seal holders will be loose  *pull hair out*

RD may  be right about the chrome - the threads look to be shallow - I wonder if I've bought cheap n nasty holders ?
