Mystery screws ?

Just going through a dry engine build after receiving all new bolt for the entire engine. ( engine was in pieces and no nut or bolts supplied), My question is are there two screws or bolts going through the inner timing cover to engine cases. a per the photo's. there is nothing noted in the parts book ?

There should be four screws all up, two go where you show in your pic and another two back by the magneto.

They are no. 50 in the parts book.

Brian just beat me as I was trying to get photos!! 4 screws in the recessed holes on the inner timing cover. 2 on each side

Thank you Brian & Brett, I didn't look at the Magneto end in my parts book, and yes it does show them, silly me.

A word of caution......Make sure the blind holes have no old jointing compound and other crap which will bottom the thread before the bolt head can tighten the cover. Easy to remove with a smaller drill bit or even a woodscrew.  Clean the thread with a plug tap. Worth checking all the new bolts for length, making sure they don't bottom. Pattern parts...always check.

I did a quick clean and re- tap of threads, but I still need to blast clean cases prior to final assembly. All input gratefully accepted

Hi Pat,
Be very careful when blasting the BSA cases 
It is almost impossible to clean out the oil way from the PRV to the cam trough, this also has a tiny bleed hole to the timing gears if media gets in there
