Well for what i's worth, I met a couple in the '70's who had one each, and their mate Wilf had one too, we used to go for Sunday arvo rides between sessions....they went ok, but my Road Rocket would out-do them in 2nd gear roll-ons

....If that photo shows us anything, it’s that the W800 is not modelled on the Star Twin.....
If that machine, the W800, had been made as a modern BSA I would be very happy with it.
