Solid copper head gaskets A10
« on: 28.05. 2019 12:45 »
Hello Just a quick enquiry, I already have lazer cut solid soft copper rocker box gaskets for A7 and A10. I would like to know if anyone would be interested in A10 head gaskets made from the same material, in other words would there be enough interest, in me getting these produced, bearing in mind the initial cost would be for me to have a cad drawing done etc?

Answers on a five pound note please. TTJohn

John,

Are you asking because you have a better material than the solid copper head gaskets that are out there, or because they could be cheaper through the channel you use?

Both, I believe they could be around the £17 mark, as they are quite large, so would not get so many out of a sheet.

Hi. Every solid copper gasket I've ever had anything to do with has been as soft as ice cream once annealed.
The copper rocker box gaskets are a great idea though, I'd stick with that idea as there are many suppliers of head gaskets IMHO.
