spares and what to do with them.

 What do you do with parts you are 99.9% sure you will never use?

 Do you sell them, trade them, or worst do nothing with them until you pass and someone unknowingly throws them away?

 My wife presented me with this question, and I could not honestly answer for myself.

 I know most of us have hoards of parts.

Good question. I've stuff from almost 60yrs motorcycling and ponder this too. My usual conclusion is that ebay would be the best option, but never get around to doing it as I'm put off by the hassle. So the stuff just keeps getting dustier. Anyone want A65 pistons, Triumph 3134 cams ...............

I'd like a great quality iron head with good threads, flat surfaces and good or easily replaced guides!

Come on then . . . who's going to offer me front crash bars with good chrome and the fittings for my G/Flash *smile*.
I was very lucky with mine, I got a brand new set of front crash bars that had been lying on a shelf in California for fifty years, they were still in the box with all of the fittings.
They went all the way from Birmingham to California, lay on a shelf for fifty years, then came all the way back to within twenty miles from where they were made.
My bike is a 1958 A7SS
