To cure a Jamming KS I am going to have to have parts turned locally here in Kenya  as no time to get from UK.

Need to turn a new 67-3169 KS Bush. If anyone has a new one they could measure up, would much appreciate.

Alternatively, the bearing  code for the KS end Mainshaft Bearing, in the middle cover will give  me at lleast the bore of the new bush, and my turner can turn the OD to suit my exsiting KS rachet.

Thanks guys have a goodweekend.

By "dimensions" I should have  made it more clear, I need especially L + OD and the OD +depth of the little flange.

The IDsI can take from my KS shaft.

Am asking because without having to dismantle my box  completely I intend to use a blind bush puller to extract the old one...hence to have the new one made up ready to fit.

Pete, probably not much help but I don't think you need to completely dismantle the box to get the bush out- unless I'm having a moment, can't the inner slab can be removed by more or less just undoing the ratchet nut?  Then the bush can be pressed out and the other made.... I'd think would be a whole lot less stressful, but I'm sure you must have other logic involved  *conf2*

G'day Peter.
It took a bit of digging but I found it. See pic. Just measured with verniers.

G'day Peter.
Sorry mate I forgot to put in the od of the flange, it's 13/16". Was in a bit of a rush, late for work.
Hope this helps.
Cheers

Very kind..this really helps as I can now fabricate the bush, use a pilot bush extractor and take out the old with minimal disturbance to the box and mess-re-gasketing.

As  you may know from my previous threads, I "dry-build" all my bikes and let cure for a week plus, which incrementally re-torquing 4-5 times. And then re-torque again after the first 20 minutes run.

I don't want to sound boastful but my A7SS engine/Box rebuild has not one single leak.

It's another matter dealing with an oily engine and box. Many thanks Musky!
