Guy,

Yes, that would he a very remote start point indeed, from my perspective. Your ride, one way, is about 40 minutes longer than Chicago's round trip. Personally, with all the buildup, something longer seems appropriate, but it does leave time for lunch and a beer after.

Our team is growing now at two whole members. (Some may notice the edit of awkward phrasing.)

Yeah, I've spent too much time trying figure out it's Long and Winding Roads, but usually end up finding what I'm looking for. In your case, just try the word "forum" in the search box, it should bring up four matches, one of which is us.

I fly back into the UK on Saturday afternoon. Hoping to be able to fit the dual seat that came with my (Guzzi) Loop frame Eldo so that my daughter and I can do the Cambridge ride on the Sunday.

As ever I am struggling with the DGR web site.

Unfortunately I am not able to join the DGR ride this year. I've made a donation to the A7A10 forum team. I hope you enjoy yourselves.

G'day Richard & GB.
What a mongrel of a site to navigate.
I have joined and donated but still unsure of attending.
Cheers

Bristol ride not cancelled despite rain and wind, also had mixed feelings but glad i went.
Still a big turn out which surprised me. Bumped into a forum member, Happy Henry, he's the chap with the 1950 plunger A7.

Well done jimbo.... alas no delighted to have made it to the finish face?
Is it fake news? The saddle rear on the C15(?) DGL looks a bit strange, almost a photoshop add on.

Nice to see Henry sporting a DG's garb and a Longstroke (plain timing cover) with a front wheel spindle that works, after his recent problems. This bike also appears to have the earlier tool box from a rigid frame, as detailed in posts earlier this year.

 Congratulations to both of you.

Swarfy

Additional. Nice colour co-ordination, but a little flamboyant for my taste.
