Good for LED bulbs (edit: also free postage if spending over £1.65, ex vat): https://www.classiccarleds.co.uk/

Good for general items (especially wiring with a colour trace, etc): http://www.vehicle-wiring-products.eu/

I will second that - I use them all the time although their shrink tube is a bit pricy. Huge range of cable - I use the thinwall type which allows you to go up a size without being any thicker overall.

Here's what a 21/5W red stop/tail and a 21W white single contact from Classic Car LEDs looks like. Cost £16.01 including free delivery and VAT for both.
I particularly like the stop/tail bulb, it looks high quality and its got a full metal shroud so you don't have to worry too much when pushing and turning it to fit in the holder.

If anyone wants to stock up with Heatshrink tubing, Hobbyking have it all, pretty cheap:

12v only?

They have a large selection of 6V bulbs Neil. Click on the Catalogue tab and select the category you want to look at. Another plus is a very quick dispatch, 2 or 3 days and your bulbs are delivered.
