WANTED - Thin flange barrel tappet grub screw 67-0276

Does anybody in the UK have a spare thin flange barrel tappet grub screw, part number 67-0276, that sits behind the barrel and presses on a ball to hold the lock pin for the 2 inner cam followers, I had to drill the old one out as it was totally butchered. I have tried all the usual sources with no success and I dont have the facilities to make one. This is holding me up so if anybody has a spare one in good usable condition please get in touch. Yes, but they have no stock and have not had any for a while. They are not alone, I have spoken to a number of suppliers and they all say they cannot get them.

OK  - well the one for thick flange might be your best option and modify if you don't want a wee bit sticking up, that would not bother me too much (it's dark around there) and it can't be that much longer

BJD, you say you have no fabrication facilities, but if you can remove an old damaged stud, surely you could get a bolt with a long enough thread and file sufficient thread off the end? May not be perfect, but with a little care would be perfectly serviceable.

 I don't know how they are different to later ones but I used a stock socket 'head' grub screw which is a bit long and one day I might cut it down.
 If I recall it's 1/4" BSF ( but standard may be BSC which didn't matter to me, but as the head bolts are BSF, can't see they would beer BSC )
 If you were to use one as I did but want a regular slot you could buy one long enough to cut it in half and slot one- Then you'll have a spare and best of both worlds

I just remembered I mined a 67-276 top/centre screw out earlier today from an old barrel and with a ruler measured 19/32" overall- 3/8" threaded + 7/32" unthreaded  reduced spigot bit.

Thanks duTch, I found the above listing that you posted last year where you had measured one. They are 1/4 BSC so if nobody comes back with a spare I will bite the bullet and make my own as RDfella suggests.

G'day John.
That's exactly what I did for my A7 plunger. 1/4" BSC. Even had a bolt with a nice chrome head. Ground the end of the thread for about 1/4".

Hi Berger, thanks for the offer but I am sorted. I bit the bullet and filed one down myself. Then as usual, they came back in stock at Draganfly. Oh well, it past a bit of time. Cheers
