The airbox is the same on all plunger models, the differing height of the barrels and choke size of the carb is accommodated by the different mouldings used for the rubber connector.
Add the variability of pattern parts, and a few other non standard mods over time, the final fitment may require a bit of homespun lateral thinking to get a workable solution.
My '53 plungy came with a monobloc carb, no air filter and badly scored pistons. Luckily 276 carbs, airboxes and hoses were just about easily available back in '76, as BSA dealers dumped their redundant stocks.
