Small end bush outer diameter
« on: 17.12. 2019 12:50 »
Does anybody know the standard outside diameter for a A10 small end bush. I have 2 that I want to use but one measures about 7 thou larger OD than the other. Not sure if its just bad manufacturing or maybe one is oversized.

This table from the 1966 Alpha Bearings catalogue may help.

The A10 bush is SE109 right at the bottom ofthe photo.

Or have a look at BSA Service sheet 702

Thanks guys, the Alpha list is a great help. The service sheet 702 only shows the ID and I need the OD.  Have now measured them with a micrometer and the smaller one measures .878 so standard whilst the other is 10 thou larger. At least now I know what I have to work with. Cheers,
