Just finished building my 1396cc Kawasaki Z1 Super Six engine, I took out the plugs and cranked it on the starter for 3 minutes and checked for the oil circulating the cams which it did perfectly,  then fitted the cam cover and newly built bank of six carbs. Very close to first start now, just need to rig up a set of three wasted spark coils and wire up the Boyer ignition 😎

Just noticed the kickstart. May have more compression than the average a10, not sure if i could crank that one . hope we get to see a video of someone kick starting it.

Can't help noticing the background in these pics - all clean and very tidy. I have to clear a space just to put a cup of coffee down. And that's in a 1200sq ft workshop!

Yes GB. From the look of the exhaust he doesn't even need a Colortune! Nice bit at the end, man and hacksaw in harmony. He surely deserves a wider appreciation, not only of his engineering skills but his off the wall designs using established basic components.
