Sunbeam clock
« on: 15.01. 2020 12:19 »
At long last I have finished a year long project rebuilding the kitchen and I have just added the finishing touch. I can now get back to riding bikes in 2020.

No Sunbeams were harmed in the manufacture of this clock - it is a one-off casting.

May I assume this is in a corner of the basement?

Not at all Bill. I do not have the skills to cast it myself - picked it up on ebay and bought a clock movement which fitted straight in the dynamo mounting hole.

Not at all Bill.

pun intended Jim, I like it but doubt the other half would.
I have got an old wooden wall clock in the shed for renovation, pendulum clock but not greatly accurate, at some point I might have time to get around to it,  will have a browse on Ebay "Clock movement should do it"

Sorry Bill I didn't get the pun - I'm a bit slow today  *sleepy*

There are loads of ads on ebay for clock movements and cheap as chips too. My clock was inspired by a guy I heard about who has a RR Merlin con rod on his wall with a clock in the big end.
