Neil,

Gawd you're old! Nevertheless, there are many of us to whom you will never catch up. Oh, I just thought of a way. All of us, except you, get on our BSAs and start riding at the speed of light, slowing time for us while time moves as usual for you.

Many happy returns GB!

A very clever colleague once heard me complain about reaching 'yet another birthday'.  She was quick to say, "It's better to have them than not".

Any big plans to mark this particular milestone?  A memorable road trip?  A series of celebrations spread throughout the year with relatives, friends and acquaintances?

Nice one GB, may happy returns etc. I'm a pup at 55 but these are just numbers aren't they. How we feel, the unseen age on the inside that's the biggie. Hope you feeling sprightly. Me, i'm a wreck!

All the best Neil, and many happy returns. And don't spend too long outside - I know it's not as cold as that faced by Captain Oates, but it's still damp and chilly!

Well, it's also our 50th wedding anniversary this year. During the summer we are paying to stay for a week at a large house near the sea in Devon. Our kids are buying and cooking the food. There will be seven adults and four little-uns. This is also part of my 70th.

greybeard happy birthday again, I am only 60 but don't seem to find the time I did in my 20's, possibly because when I have been to the pub on one of my marathon sessions it now takes me 3 days to get over it, but having said that I am pretty sure as the years go by I seem to think you could cram more in a day than you do when getting older cheers *beer*
