My '53 Plunger has a relatively short, stubby straight lever, runs parallel with the backplate face, to enable the brake rod to pass through the narrow gap between the brake backplate and the suspension covers. The parts book shows a longer lever which looks straight or maybe just the way its drawn. Can a few folks picture what they have?
Early rod operated S/A brake uses a longer offset lever, Draganfly's catalogue is unusually unhelpful, showing part numbers but no description or application. Parts book illustrations for plunger and S/A long levers look similar, but have different part numbers.
