1955 A7SS Front Wheel Offset
«

Morning all,
The front wheel on my A7SS is the type with the 8" diameter half width hub and I'm wondering if anyone has jotted down somewhere the offset dimensions please? Ideally, brake pad side to face of rim.
Thanks in advance,
Steve

The factory figure is 1 15/16 inch centre line of rim to edge of brake drum. You can find it on service sheet 79 on mikeb website;
http://bsa-info.nz/service-sheets/#1.ServiceSheets
Measurement to edge of rim are only accurate if the new rim is exactly the same width as the original
