What colour was the brake drums?
Black or silver?
1962 BSA A10 Super Rocket
All pictures seen have either silver or black and even the sales brochures have silver and or black brake drums.

What’s the best spray paint to use?
On another forum, they say Hammerite rust cap smooth finish silver/grey is best, but here I can’t find Hammerite and only come across Rustoleum.

I had mine powder coated silver/grey during wheel rebuild by Black Cat Wheels, regarding spray paint you may need heat resistant type
