Lucas 45SA switch
« on: 15.06. 2020 18:43 »
Dose anyone know where I can obtain the 45SA switch,  lucas part number 31923. Or dose anyone know how this switch is configured, it is a toggle switch with 6 connection blades. It looks as if it is a straight on off switch.
This item is not listed anywhere as far as I can see.
Thank you in advance for your help.

Thank you for finding the 57Sa switch, but the 45SA is a straight on off  combination. The extra on position will be the problem for the internal connection.  Thank you for  trying.
It is for the secret isolation switch on the A65. It disables the coils and  sounds the horns in the event of someone trying to steal the  bike.
Not a common switch to get these connections to operate correctly.

Blimey how did you find that. It looks like the beast. But as you say its £50 it would need to be gold plated for that price on a switch. It must be for the  military testing that you are paying for. The only other thing is I would need to put a  timer on it so it doesn't sound the horn all night.
It might be better to buy a cheap alarm system and fit to the bike.
I will need to ponder on this one for a while.  Thank you for finding  it. Might be able to find a cheaper version not for military use.
Thanks again.
