They wouldn’t fit inside.

The bike is now complete with speedo and tacho which surprisingly are both working.
Took it for it's first run today - just a few miles locally and all seems fine
I was surprised just how fast these bike are and it vibrates less than my old FXR Harley that I've had from new !

Excellent work. Only niggle I have is the choice of rear tyre. I wouldn't lean it over too far.

rd fella my claim to fame as a young en was wearing down the sides on one of those tyres on the starfire. my mates always pointed at it with disbelief , I was fearless back then or just young and crackers!

Had one of those on a Commando once, wore the foot pegs down but the tyre never let go!

I've never worn any pegs away in 50 years so it should be O.K.

I've worn a fair few out from the top down, but never any from the bottom up either!

I like to keep my knee 'up'.

Bill - the copper is just that - copper tubing cut to length - it's just cosmetic to hide the bare steel fork tubes.
We used to do it in the 60's - looks cool ,and is easy to polish up again when it tarnishes.

first time I've seen it, looks the dogs doodahs.
Was thinking of making the front end of my A10 look lighter as in Goldie with exposed upper stantion bit and wondered how to make it look better then semi rusted without purchase of stainless (if you can get them), I'll lookout for sum copper tube
