'56-57 rear sprocket studs
« on: 20.08. 2009 10:53 »
G'day all,
I need to replace the studs in my Ariel type hub. I see their held in by scotch keys (pins down the side of the stud). Are they a straight pin or threaded ? There is a small hole inside the hub at where I think the pin is, but have broken 2 pin punches trying to punch them out. Any suggestions.
Cheers

G'day all,
I got'em out. The pins are 1/8" diam X 3/8" long. I drilled 3/32" down the pin and collapsed them, then unscrewed the studs. Hope this helps anyone else with these hubs.
Cheers
