Hi Musky, I am really impressed with the detail you show in your conversion. It is far better than my fag packet design, most of the work was trial and error. My design works well and the last time I heard of the bike it was running fine. Sponon Engineering of Derby welded the block in place in the outer cover, it was overdone and not to their usual high standard. Bob Stevenson ( RIP Bob ) was a good mate and helped me with several projects over the years.
Its a shame we are on the opposite side of the planet so unless you can live with the postage costs would it be viable to buy the cases ? I have no idea what it would cost these days. Can we still send stuff to OZ with this virus still around ?
I still think like a 20 year old but with blanks sometimes, I am now 80 and still ( covid excepted ) do the odd track day at Cadwell and Mallory 1000 bikes. Its harder to get the bike in/out of the van than it is to race it. Don't be in a hurry to get old guys is not a barrel of laughs.
Must get down to the workshop and start sorting the boxes, It seems the bike ( rolling chassis ) is on the dvla register but the seller cant find the V5C but is going to apply for a new one. How much is the V5C worth as he wants money for it ?
Any comments welcome.
