Hi Bill,
I like the "export" style headlamp brackets and then rubber gaiters over the springs
I have them on my SR and have another pair for my RGS project

last time I did it I got the longer ones and had to cut them to put gaiters on, gaiters rotted in no time, this seems fairly common.
My brother bought a 350 Goldie and I really like the front end, mines looks heavy in comparison, I've got plenty time to mull over whats to do - still sorting sheds out

Looks great! I've always wondered what the advantage was to the pipes outside the engine cases. Heat reduction or cornering clearance?

Thanks for that. It was an honest question I've had for a while. I thought they might be cooled better in the wind and not have their heat blown onto the jugs. Seemed like a reasonable, however probably hard to quantify, idea..........uote]
