Is there a recommended torque setting for the head bolts other than "really tight " as per service sheet? The Haynes manual ain't much more help..... Cheers

25 ft lbs has always worked for me.

Is this for iron or alloy head?
25-27 lbf ft does for my alloy heads - not forgetting the thick load spreading washers per the parts book.
