You can fit 6 bonded plates from the 7 plate kit to the standard 4 spring pre unit clutch but there is not enough space for 7. This works OK.
7 fit if you use a billet chainwheel and remove the lip on the centre drum so the first plate in is bonded and seat aginst the chainwheel, but you really need the SRM thrust washer type adaptor. With these changes I find it works very well.
