A7 Rigid Tool Box
« on: 22.11. 2020 19:20 »
Hello all

How should the tool box be attached to my 1947 a7 rigid, The parts book shows a single bracket which I think goes onto the pillion foot rest bolt but I'm not sure where else it should attach, looking at the tool box i have it has two wholes which line up with the rear mudguard but that seems a bit of a rough idiot way to attach the front of the box.

Thanks

Not sure if it’s the same on a rigid but on a plunger there’s 2 bolts inside to the right holding the toolbox to the mudguard just as you describe.
On the top left there’s a p-clip holding the box to the frame tube coming down from below the saddle

Thanks Morris,

Looks like the mudguard is the right place to bolt it, based on parts listing it looks like mine doesn't have the p clip but does bolt to the mudguard.
