Does anyone know where I could find a bent/rusted/worn out or otherwise useless rear section for an A-series plunger frame? Some PO (Phil E. Stein?) has cut off the nearside footrest mounting spiggot from my SF frame. It occurs to me that the easiest fix would be to find another standard but knackered frame and remove the footrest spigot, then weld it to my damaged frame. I don't want to change the whole rear section as the SF is slightly different and I'd like to keep it as original as possible.

Couldn't you get a mate with a lathe to knock up something similar?

That's plan B!  But not quite so simple as the spiggot isn't at 90 degrees to frame and footrest mount.
