A10 transmission nuts...
« on: 18.12. 2006 11:39 »
Anyone know a part # or better yet a sources for the 4 nuts for the front of an A10 trannie? It seems every trannie I have on the shelf doesn't have the nuts.
Cheers,
Pollock

Part number is 67-3034. I would have thought any of the BSA places advertising in the magazines would have them or you could try the stainless specialists.

Hi Pollock,

I agree with Fido.

The part number you want is 67-3034 which is a 5/16x26TPI (cycle thread) thin wall nut.  This means it has a smaller hexagon than normal which enables it to be tightened with a socket.

These are readily available from most of the UK dealers but I suspect that you are not in the UK.

Let us know where you are and maybe someone could suggest a specific dealer for you to try.

Indianapolis, IN USA...no british shops around...I would do internet. British only now has a $150 min. now. I need 40 of these but only 4 for the current project. If someone could point me to a sight that would be awesome.

Yes SRM does have them as I bought some myself last summer, reasonably priced too! I think they look so much better than the hex bolts that people seem to go for.
