Does anyone know if a plunger M21 rear QD hub is interchangeable with an A10 plunger QD hub ?

Yes mate they should be the same the only difference in these is the centre spacer hole diameter for swing arm axles. The QD hubs are all the same as far as I know from the ones I have. The plunger singles have a thinner rear wheel sprocket teeth so check that.

I also have a rear hub question. I am re-building an A10 with a dubious heritage and seem to have an oversized rear hub. The RHS is markedly domed and there is no room for the standard spacer between the swing arm and the hub. The wheel is impossible to remove/reinstall with the sprocket on the swing arm, as described in the Haynes manual, without forcing the swing arm apart. Has anyone come across this problem? Looking at images of other A10's the rear hub RHS appears to be flatter than mine.

Bill you have a plunger hub. Underneath the domed cover there is a screwed collar to hold the bearing in. The swingarm one should be flat and there is no screwed collar.

The plunger one can be altered to suit but it might be easier to get the right hub.

Thanks very much Brian. I suspected I might have the wrong one. I will chase up the right hub. If anyone out there needs a plunger hub I can help.
