Arial Hub A10 Front brake cable wanted
« on: 30.03. 2021 23:16 »
I have a 1956 BSA A10 fitted with Arial hubs and western bars . Does anyone know what part number to use for the front brake cable as I would imagine the cable would be a longer length than standard. Its the one with the large ball at the hub lever end
Thanks

That's what I ordered 42 8670 and its too short if you have western bars fitted

You don't happen to have the part numbers for the 54/55 western bar  control cable options?  my parts list only has domestic cables. I really need a full set if I'm going to retain my original western bars on my 54RR  : front brake/clutch/magneto/choke/throttle.

This may be of some help, the cables I used on my 53 Super Flash with western bars are:
Front brake: 67-8607
Clutch: 67-8687
Mag: 67-8620
Throttle: 67-8527
Choke: 67-8524
I got some from Draganfly and the clutch cable came from Feked. In some cases the web site gives the inner and outer cable lengths so you could make up your own.
Cheers, John

Kohn,
thanks for those, my 54-55 parts book sadly doesn't cover the road rocket and the cable codes are all different, none covering the western option  *pull hair out*
Cheers

G'day Fellas.
I'm in the same boat. In re-modeling the Cafe I need longer f/brake and clutch cables. Clutch 67-8687, F/brake 42-8674.
Anyone know where has them?
Cheers
