Triumph SD advice
« on: 15.04. 2021 06:25 »
Does anyone have any experience rebuilding early Triumphs? I have a very rough 1921 Triumph SD, The gearbox especially is in a rough state. The outer case has cracked and is in three pieces around the mainshaft. It had leather 'bushes' in place of shell bearings..
I'd intended to have it running for its centenary... unlike now that will happen

Working on the really old stuff is hard, a lot harder than building a A10.

I'm currently building a 1910 Triumph and its been a struggle and its not finished yet.

Good luck with it.
