Mothers/Solvol
« on: 13.01. 2022 15:00 »
Having used Solvol Autosol since Adam was a lad, I can now recommend "Mothers" aluminium polish to be much easier and quicker to use - and it gives a better finish with no smears - £10 a tub off e.bay. - try it !

G'day Roger.
Plus 1 for that. Only recently swapped from Autosol to Mothers. Not that I'm into shiny so it makes the job easier.
Cheers

I also used Solvo Autosol for years until they dropped Solvo off its name. The polish was not as good as it used to be so I have been using Maguire's ever since. I will buy some Mothers polish and will give my feedback after using it for a few weeks.
Thanks for the tip Roger.

Right, and “loud pipes save lives” lol. I am a rinse and go kind of guy too but when it comes time I have found Mother’s to work well.
